Jesse H. Jones (JHJ) School of Business undergraduate scholarships are awarded to full-time students who show exceptional academic ability and exemplify good citizenship as engaged members of the community. Scholarship recipients must meet all university requirements for regular admission for the fall semester and must complete a FAFSA (U.S. Citizens) or TASFA (International).  JHJ School of Business Scholarships are NOT eligible for tuition waivers. Annual scholarship awards are eligible for renewal, but is contingent upon compliance with all eligibility criteria and the availability of funds.

Application Due Dates:

The JHJ Undergraduate Scholarship application is currently open to   all  first-time freshmen and first-time transfer students.

The Jesse H.  Jones (JHJ) School of Business is pleased to present the JHJ School of Business Alumni Chapter John Odom Scholarship Award to sophomore, junior, and senior business majors who demonstrate the highest levels of intellectual and personal achievement and have potential to become active alumni who will support the university and contribute to their communities.

The 萝莉社 National Alumni Association, Inc. 鈥� Jesse H. Jones School of Business Alumni Chapter (JHJAC) will award a total of (3) scholarships to full-time sophomores, juniors, and seniors 鈥� (1) $1,000 scholarship and (2) $500 scholarships.

Scholarship Information:

The Jesse H. Jones School of Business is pleased to present the prestigious and highly competitive Kase and Eileen Lawal Endowed Scholarship opportunity to business students with an interest in international business and global trade.  The scholarship is matched by the President鈥檚 Leadership Scholarship (PLS), allowing scholarship recipients to receive a $2,500 Lawal award, in addition to a $1,000 PLS award. Scholarship awards will be distributed to recipients鈥� 萝莉社 student accounts in the spring semester. The scholarship is renewable.

Lawal Endowed Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Scholarship Application Requirements:

• Demonstrated coursework 鈥� Official transcript from all colleges/universities attended (transcripts must be in a sealed envelope from the registrar)
• Short essay (500 words, double-spaced) describing your interest in international business and global trade as a career focus
• One letter of recommendation from a current or recent professor, student affairs staff, or employer
• Professional Resume鈥�
• Professional Headshot (color)

Scholarship Information:

Thurgood Marshall College Fund offers unique merit and need-based scholarships that are designed to address the financial needs of students attending a TMCF member-school or other accredited colleges or universities (if applicable). The awards process is highly competitive and is given to outstanding and qualified students who plan to earn a baccalaureate, graduate or law degree. Most scholarships are one year, non-renewable unless otherwise indicated. Awards are given without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, disability, or national origin.

Minnie Stevens Piper Compendium 鈥� Index to Scholarships and Other Financial Aid

Patsy Takemoto Mink Education Foundation

Patsy Takemoto was the first woman of color in Congress and driving force behind Title IX, the landmark legislation that mandated gender equity in education. The Patsy Takemoto Mink Education Foundation offers Education Support Awards to assist low-income women with children who are pursuing undergraduate or graduate education or training (first bachelor鈥檚 degree or professional/masters/doctoral degree). Awardees will be selected based on 1) financial need; 2) personal circumstance; 3) educational path; 4) vocational or occupational goals; and 5) service or activist or civic goals.

Live Your Dream Education and Training Awards for Women

The Zootomist Live Your Dream Awards assist women who provide the primary source of financial support for their families by giving them the resources they need to improve their education, skills and employment prospects. Each year, more than $2.1 million in education grants are awarded to nearly 1,500 women, many of whom have overcome enormous obstacles including poverty, domestic violence and/or drug and alcohol abuse. Live Your Dream Awards recipients may use the cash award to offset any costs associated with their efforts to attain higher education, such as books, childcare, tuition and transportation. Eligible applicants must be enrolled in, or have been accepted to, a vocational/skills training program or an undergraduate degree program and must demonstrate financial need. Local-level award recipients become eligible for region-level awards of either $3,000 or $5,000. Region-level award recipients then become eligible to receive one of three international-level awards of $10,000.
